Kathryn Frady has been widely praised for her vocal range and dramatic talent as an opera singer, and is known for creating dynamic and vivid characters. Kathryn has studied Acting for Camera with Ann Mahoney, from The Walking Dead, and recently joined Gage Talent in Knoxville, TN to begin working in film and television. Upcoming productions include a film of Poulenc's The Human Voice.
"Frady’s performance was, simply stated, a sensational theatre experience. Matching her vocal characterization was an almost uncanny ability to dramatically transform her face, and her persona from softness and gentelness, to angst-ridden and depleted.”
– Arts Knoxville 2014, World Premiere of Amelia Lost – Marble City Opera
“Frady’s brilliance as a soprano capable of riveting the audience’s attention - in vocal depth, in lyrical beauty, and in a marvelously conceived ebb and flow of posture and attitude - was as rewarding as it gets in theater.”
-Arts Knoxville 2017, The Human Voice – Marble City Opera
“Nothing short of a tour de force.” – TN Today 2017, The Human Voice - Marble City Opera
